Sanatan Sanskriti or Sanatan Dharma 

Sanatana dharma, in Hinduism, term used to denote the “eternal” or absolute set of duties or religiously ordained practices incumbent upon all Hindus, regardless of class, caste, or sect. Different texts give different lists of the duties, but in general sanatana dharma consists of virtues such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings, purity, goodwill, mercy, patience, forbearance, self-restraint, generosity, and asceticism. Sanatana dharma is contrasted with svadharma, one’s “own duty” or the particular duties enjoined upon an individual according to his or her class or caste and stage of life. The potential for conflict between the two types of dharma (e.g., between the particular duties of a warrior and the general injunction to practice non-injury) is addressed in Hindu texts such as the Bhagavad Gītā, where it is said that in such casessva dharma must prevail.

The term has also more recently been used by Hindu leaders, reformers, and nationalists to refer to Hinduism as a unified world religion. Sanatana dharma has thus become a synonym for the “eternal” truth and teachings of Hinduism, the latter conceived of as not only transcendent of history and unchanging but also as indivisible and ultimately nonsectarian.

सनातन धर्म, हिंदू धर्म में, वर्ग, जाति या संप्रदाय की परवाह किए बिना, सभी हिंदुओं पर "शाश्वत" या पूर्ण कर्तव्यों या धार्मिक रूप से निर्धारित प्रथाओं को निरूपित करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। अलग-अलग ग्रंथ कर्तव्यों की अलग-अलग सूचियां देते हैं, लेकिन सामान्य तौर पर सनातन धर्म में ईमानदारी, जीवों को चोट पहुंचाने से बचना, पवित्रता, सद्भावना, दया, धैर्य, सहनशीलता, आत्म-संयम, उदारता और तपस्या जैसे गुण शामिल हैं। सनातन धर्म स्वधर्म, किसी के "स्वयं के कर्तव्य" या किसी व्यक्ति पर उसके वर्ग या जाति और जीवन के चरण के अनुसार दिए गए विशेष कर्तव्यों के विपरीत है। दो प्रकार के धर्मों के बीच संघर्ष की संभावना (उदाहरण के लिए, एक योद्धा के विशेष कर्तव्यों और गैर-चोट का अभ्यास करने के सामान्य आदेश के बीच) को हिंदू ग्रंथों जैसे भगवद गीता में संबोधित किया गया है, जहां ऐसा कहा जाता है कि ऐसे मामलों में धर्म धर्म प्रबल होना चाहिए।

इस शब्द का उपयोग हाल ही में हिंदू नेताओं, सुधारकों और राष्ट्रवादियों द्वारा हिंदू धर्म को एक एकीकृत विश्व धर्म के रूप में संदर्भित करने के लिए किया गया है। इस प्रकार सनातन धर्म हिंदू धर्म के "शाश्वत" सत्य और शिक्षाओं का पर्याय बन गया है, जिसे न केवल इतिहास से परे और अपरिवर्तनीय माना जाता है, बल्कि अविभाज्य और अंततः गैर-सांप्रदायिक भी माना जाता है।

दारिद्रय दहन स्तोत्र 

Daridraya Dahana Shiva Stotram

दरिद्रता एक अभिशाप है। शास्त्र कहता है-

'बभक्षित: किं न करोति पापम्‌।

क्षीणा: नरा: निष्करूणा भवन्ति।।'

- अर्थात भूखा व्यक्ति कौन-सा पाप नहीं करता। हमारे शास्त्रों में ऐसे अनेक अनुष्ठानों एवं स्तोत्र का उल्लेख है जिनसे दरिद्रता से मुक्ति मिलती है। प्रतिदिन भगवान शिव का 'दारिद्रय दहन स्तोत्र' के साथ अभिषेक करने से मनुष्य को स्थिर लक्ष्मी की प्राप्ति होती है।

* दारिद्रय दहन स्तोत्र : इसे पढ़ने से दूर होते हैं आर्थिक संकट

रावण शिव का घोर भक्त था और उनके बारे में कई कथाएं प्रचलित हैं। एक भक्त को महान नहीं बनना चाहिए, लेकिन वह एक महान भक्त था। वह पूरे दक्षिण से कैलाश आए - मैं चाहता हूं कि आप पूरे रास्ते चलने की कल्पना करें - और शिव की स्तुति गाने लगे। उनके पास एक ढोल था जिसे वे ताल बजाते थे और छंदों की रचना करते थे, जिसे शिव तांडव स्तोत्रम कहा जाता है।

Ravana was a fierce devotee of Shiva and there are many stories about them. A devotee shouldn’t become great, but he was a great devotee. He came to Kailash all the way from down south – I want you to just imagine walking all the way – and began to sing Shiva’s praises. He had a drum which he used to set the beat and composed 1008 verses extempore, which is called the Shiva Tandava Stotram.
